It is one of the most liked toppings on a pizza all around the world. 

Bread leavening by yeast: One of the most popular forms of the fermentation process used by home cooks and chefs alike, is baking bread. Which is incomplete without the addition of yeast to help it stay airy and light. With the use of yeast in bread dough, the production of carbon dioxide makes it grow hence making the bread much less dense and more enjoyable. 

Sewage treatment: The fermentation process is used in wastewater treatment to break down greases, oils, proteins, and fats. The bacteria used in this process is called Bacillus and is found in the digestive systems of most animals and humans. This type of bacteria helps breakdown and digest food and after research and development of this bacteria, scientists have found it to be extremely useful to help breakdown the oil and grease found in sewerage systems. 

Hydrogen gas: hydrogen gas has numerous uses from being an excellent choice for rocket fuel to being used in the process of breaking down crude oil to obtain fuel. Thus, scientists have discovered ways to increase the production of hydrogen gas by using the fermentation process.
