Find of the Century: 'Dead Woman' Spotted on Mars, Alien Expert Claims

Nov 08, 2016 03:50 AM EST

Alien expert Scott Waring is convinced that NASA's Curiosity Rover has captured what appears to be an image of a woman carved into the surface of Mars.

According to Morning News USA, Waring came across it while reviewing the images taken by the Rover which has been deployed in Mars for four years now to take photos of the Red Planet's surface. Waring suspects that the picture shows a "dead woman" wearing a dress. Here's what he wrote on his blog:

"This is one of the few carvings I have found on Mars that depict a human-like species.I have found hundreds, but never looking human, and her dress is raised up in the front, and longer in the back, much like the ladies used to wear back in the 1700s here on Earth."

Adding to the bizarre feature of the woman is what seemed to be unusual breasts, he added.

"Something confusing is her chest, it has breasts one above the other, unlike women on earth who have them side by side. No, I was not looking for this. It just stood out so much it was obvious what it was. It took a whole 3-5 seconds of looking at the photos to see it."

Metro UK reported that the recent finding has been deemed by the alien hunters as the "find of the century." NASA has previously suggested that extraterrestrial or unworldly sightings are due to confirmation bias. NASA believes people see what they want to see, all the time.

In other news, scientists have detected strange signals coming from 234 distant stars. Stephen Hawking, through the Breakthrough Listen project, which is funded by himself and Russian billionaire Yuri Milner and run by the SETI Research Centre at the University of California Berkeley is currently looking at the signals to unlock its mystery and to search for possibility of "aliens."
