An elderly woman aged 82 was mauled by her pitbull in India's northern Uttar Pradesh region.

Sushila Tripathi, 82, of Lucknow, a municipality in the northern Indian district of Uttar Pradesh, was attacked by her pit bull when she was by herself at home on Tuesday.

The victim was discovered laying down after the tragic accident. She was then transported to the medical facility, where she died from concussions.

Pitbull Attacks it's Owner

Tripathi's household assistant discovered her in a bed of bloodshed and alerted her son as a woman named Sushila Tripathi, 82, of Bengali Tola, was savaged by her animal dog and her corpse was retrieved and taken to a morgue for an autopsy, according to Times Now.

As per veteran enforcement officer Yogesh Kumar was reported as commenting by Press Trust of India, police are discussing with Lucknow City Board authorities over the incidence.

The woman, a former educator, shared her home with her teenage son and two companion canines, one of which mauled her. Community members said that the dog had not before reported to be hostile. What precisely triggered it is uncertain, Yahoo reported.

She was brought to the emergency department, where she was declared dead by general practitioners. Tripathi resided with her younger son and had two dogs, one of which attacked her.

On Wednesday morning, a crew from the city council corporation arrived at her home and discovered it barred.

In an official statement to the general public proclaimed by claimed Dr Abhinav Verma, a veterinarian inspector with the Lucknow City Council, the investigator assigned to the case claimed that the group proceeded to the residence to see if the household had a permit to maintain a dangerous dog as possession, however, since the home was shut, it was impossible to determine.

The American Dog Breeders Association describes pit bulls as a middle-sized dog with a domestic shorthair and smooth well-defined muscular composition, eyes that are spherical almond-shaped, and ears that are compact to medium in size.

Analysts claim pit bulls are neither more or less violent than any other dog type, and that their behavior is determined by how the animal is managed and educated.

While Dr Vineeta Poojary, supervisor of Veterinary Services at Humane Society International, informed The Independent that either pit bulls and Labradors are sociable and fearsome. It all varies depending on how you raise them.

Furthermore, folks assume of particular strains as more violent; they are not looked of as affectionate, compassionate creatures when they are raised.

The woman perished from massive bleeding damage after suffering several gaping scars from the throat to the belly, as per the coroner's results. The bruises on her body revealed that the dog had buried its fangs into her flesh and ripped it all apart.

Moreover, IBTimes report states that there seem to be absolute specific circumstances that may result to an onslaught. Nonetheless, I would hardly recommend having a large dog in India since there are many medical difficulties that arise with it; even so, behavior problems are fully dependent on conditioning.

Dr Vinod Sharma of Delhi's DCC Animal Hospital agreed that pit bulls must all be watched. Since several individuals cage them up and do not adequately nourish them, which might cause them to become violent.

Some dogs are mistreated as well. Dogs [such as pit bulls] should never be left by themselves at household.
