For the past 15 years, Europe's Centaurus Foundation has been on a mission to save the lives of horses and other at-risk animals. However, due to recent global events, their foundation, and the animals, are in trouble.

As a result of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Centaurus lost an estimated 90 percent of donors. On top of that, Poland, the home of the foundation, experienced severe droughts that is further crippling their valiant efforts to save these majestic creatures.

With that being said, Europe's largest animal sanctuary is asking you for help. If you would like to donate to the cause, you can do so by following this link.

The Animals

Centaurus is most times these creatures' last hope of living a full life after enduring many hardships. While the foundation cares for many different kinds of animals, their key initiative is the horses, most of which were beasts of burden until becoming too old and weak to serve their difficult purpose. These horses pulled carriages, plows and were even zoo animals evicted from their homes due to human fault such as bankruptcy, boredom, or sadly, simply not needing them anymore.

Cats and dogs also reside under the care of this amazing foundation; some are strays, some are rescues, but all deserve to live a full life and experience the love of mankind.

The Foundation

In the absence of government programs for at-risk animals, the Centaurus Foundation was born. In the beginning, they had only a few horses, and now, however, they have hundreds of dependents. These animals require certain things, such as nutrition and medicine. This is a considerable cost, and the foundation is desperately seeking your assistance.
