The new Tropical Storm Franklin will unleash heavy rainfall and flooding concerns in parts of Hispaniola midweek.

The developing Tropical Franklin could bring dangerous situations in parts of the Dominican Republic due to severe rainfall conditions.

Based on the National Weather Service (NWS) advisory, Tropical Storm Franklin could cause mudslides and dangerous flash flooding. Tropical warnings are also present in the affected areas, especially in parts of the Caicos Islands and Turks.

Meanwhile, a low-pressure area was detected over the Northwestern Caribbean Sea. The forecast said that the disturbance is moving slowly.

Furthermore, low pressure in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic will unleash showers and thunderstorms, especially in Cabo Verde Islands.

In the U.S., the weather forecast showed that Tropical Storm Hilary will bring heavy rainfall and flooding concerns in portions of Southern California.

Hilary became a hurricane, but was downgraded to a tropical storm.

The storm conditions helped to ease the challenging heat in Southern California.
