This month, astronomy and meteor lovers can see the sightings of the Perseid Meteor Shower. The Royal Museums Greenwich explained that said meteor shower event is active between July and August 24.

The weather is expected to become ideal as meteor showers unfold, considering there are no hazy skies during the display.

Meanwhile, the Guardian noted that meteor lovers could likely see 60 to 100 meteor showers per hour. The Earth Sky reported that the meteor showers could be more noticeable before dawn or late at night.

People can also have a better view as the moon is expected to become a waning crescent. The report noted that the moon will be 10% illuminated when the meteor showers peak.

Furthermore, Earth Sky noted that the Perseid Meteor Showers in August will be stunning and colorful, especially in the Northern Hemisphere.

Recently, Nature World News (NWN) and Associated Press (AP) reported the supermoon event happened on August 1 and another one, which will be a blue moon, is also set to delight moon lovers on August 30.

According to reports, the moon will have a bigger view, which is 30% brighter and 14% bigger.
