Seattle, Washington. As the second week of July comes near, Americans can expect a record-challenging heat in the Southwest this week.

The latest weather forecast showed that portions of the Southwest could expect challenging heat this week, while the Northwest could anticipate cooler conditions.

Recently, parts of the US recorded hotter temperatures as the summer season is in the air, especially in the South and Texas.

Weather reports raised concerns over heat-related illnesses due to the soaring temperatures, including heat exhaustion and heat stress.

In the Eastern United States, Nature World News (NWN) and AccuWeather reported that a hotter outlook could become possible in the region.

Based on the weather outlook, hotter conditions are expected in Boston, New York, Washington, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Columbus, and Charleston.

Weather forecasts in the Southwest US

In the latest forecast, AccuWeather reported that heat would unfold midweek in Washington and Oregon. On the weekend until Monday, the forecast noted that heat would continue in Boise, Elko, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix.

Americans with travel plans should consider the weather conditions before leaving their homes, as a hotter outlook could cause possible health concerns for vulnerable sectors.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), heat warnings and advisories are present in portions of the United States this weekend and until next week.

The forecast showed that dangerous heat is expected in the Southern US, Louisiana, and Southern California.

Meanwhile, the AccuWeather outlook revealed that dry weather and fire risk could become possible due to the soaring temperatures. The challenging heat is forecast in Reno, Elko, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.

On the other hand, the forecast noted that cooler conditions are expected in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, and Medford from Thursday and Friday.

Heat concerns due to temperature spike

Meanwhile, the NWS Austin/San Antonio recent advisory said that Austin and San Antonio heat conditions recorded a spike in hospital visits in June.

The NWS Buffalo added that heat and humidity are forecast to unfold on Thursday, causing heat advisories in the areas.

However, the report noted that a cooler weather outlook is expected to rebound on Friday, with stormy conditions and rain chances.

The latest NWS advisory noted dry conditions and challenging winds in Northern Arizona.

Staying safe during the challenging heat
