Inland, highs will be in the 90s; over at the coast, highs are in the 90s or somewhat higher. The morning sky will be sunny, but by the afternoon, clouds will be more prevalent. Rain chances start to increase after 2 PM, with the I-4 corridor and the Atlantic beaches having the maximum coverage.

Several storms with heavy rain, lightning, and brisk gusts may develop. By sunset, the coast will be clear of storms. Late tonight, the skies will clear, and temperatures in the 70s are anticipated until Thursday morning, FOX 35 News reports.

This afternoon in Melbourne, Florida, there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, occurring mainly between 2 PM and 5 PM. Melbourne skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 92, and wind will move at speeds of 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, in Melbourne there will be a 10% chance of showers before 8 pm. It will be mostly clear, with a low around 70 and the West wind around 5 mph. Some areas can reach record temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

Over Melbourne, Florida, a Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect due to the possibility of isolated lightning storms throughout the entire east today in central Florida, with a strong westerly flow pinning the sea wind off the east coast along the coast. Although the likelihood of rain will be lower generally over the next three days, daily storms with heavy rain and lightning are still possible in Central Florida.
