Australia Weather Forecast: Sunny, Warm Conditions to Unfold This Week; Huge Thunderstorms Slam Country's East Coast

The latest weather forecast said the Australian weather would be Sunny this week. Meanwhile, thunderstorms emerged in East Coast portions of the country.

In the early beginning of January, the weather in Australia recorded challenging weather with heavy rain and warm temperatures.

According to 7News, the weather forecast said that the weather would be sunny, especially during Australian Day.

Sydney, Perth and Adelaide would expect warm conditions this week. Meanwhile, residents in Brisbane could expect cloudy conditions with a chance of rain.

On the other hand, the Daily Mail UK  reported that Australia's east coast experienced lightning strikes (Tuesday evening).

The report added that New South Whales received thunderstorms, which thunderstrikes could reach up to 30,000.

• The severe weather also unloaded in Victoria. Many residents had no power.
• Heavy rain and damaging winds also unfolded in Melbourne.

In Western Sydney and Southern Highlands, residents and motorists dealt with the heavy rain and strong winds.
