In the recent forecast, the blast brought cold air to portions of the United States. The weather became extremely cold, unloading snow at the same time.

Midwest could also feel the quick unseasonable warm weather in midweek.

With the warmer air expected this week, the brief warm weather could temporarily relieve the cold weather.

Unseasonably warm weather

According to AccuWeather's latest forecast, the weather showed record-challenging warmth would occur this Tuesday afternoon, with widespread 60s and 70s.

The forecast added that residents in Philadelphia and Massachusetts could expect new warm weather records.

In addition, New York could still experience abnormally warm weather. Recently, Buffalo City suffered from the heavy lake-effect snow that left widespread power outages and snow.

On Wednesday afternoon, the AccuWeather forecast added that the warm weather could persist, with widespread 50s and 60s.

The taste of the warm weather could occur in Akron, Pittsburg, Washington, Philadelphia, Scranton, New York, Boston, Washington and Virginia Beach.

A Major Winter Storm

On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) explained in the latest key message report that heavy snow could unfold in portions of the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest starting Tuesday.

The NWS' key message added that the snow could be moderate to heavy. The winter storm is expected to unload freezing rain.

As the weather unleashes more snow, the advisory explained that intense snow could be expected in portions of Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota starting Tuesday.

The weather conditions could be challenging for many motorists traveling to the said areas.

Difficult to dangerous travel could be expected this week due to the current weather conditions and reduced visibility.

The forecast also warned that the weather conditions could cause tree damage and power outages.
