With the rollercoaster weather in October from winter to sudden warmth, the latest forecasts revealed that winter would begin to be felt in portions of the Rockies and Midwest.

Snowfall can be felt in portions of the Rockies and Midwest as the storm could bring blizzards.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Nicole could also impact parts of the United States, especially in the Florida Peninsula.

According to the National Hurricane Center's latest key message, the storm is expected to bring hurricane conditions in portions of the Bahamas' northwestern, and dangerous conditions could also be possible.

With the threat of Nicole becoming a Hurricane, Tropical Warnings and Hurricane Watches are in effect.

According to AccuWeather, unseasonably cold weather this week starting Thursday could be expected. The report noted Redding, Reno, San Franciso, Fresno, Las Vegas, Cedar City, Denver, and Grand Junction.

Meanwhile, snow could also emerge on the said days in Salt Lake City.

The latest forecast from AccuWeather noted that Winter Storm could emerge starting Wednesday night to Friday night. According to the weather outlook, blizzard conditions with snow could emerge in Rapid City, Fargo, Scottsbluff, and Denver.

The report added portions of Omaha and Minneapolis.

Meanwhile, the outlook for Wednesday night to Thursday night would have more snow. Snow lovers could expect in Billings, Rapid City, Fargo, and Sioux Falls

Furthermore, the report noted that severe thunderstorms could emerge starting Thursday afternoon to evening in portions of Rochester, Des Moines, and Kansas City.

The report also added that blizzard warnings are in effect in Bismark, Carrington, and Mobridge areas. Portions of Fargo, South and North Dakota, and Rapid City could expect blizzard conditions starting Thursday night.

AccuWeather emphasized that hazards could be possible due to the major snowstorm in the Northern Plains with strong winds and heavy snow.

Commuters should observe or be careful driving due to low visibility on major roads.

Residents in the affected areas should be updated with the weather reports for the impact of snowstorms, blizzards, and storms.

According to AccuWeather's outlook for Thursday, areas of Rapid City, Bismark, and Fargo could expect from usual to heavy snow.

Portions of Sioux Falls, Des Moines, Kansas City, and Minneapolis could expect rain and thunderstorms.

While some portions of the United States could expect rainy and blizzard conditions, the weather report noted that warm temperatures could occur in portions of Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Peoria, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.

Blizzard conditions

Weather reports emphasized that the blizzard conditions could affect visibility on major roads.

The strong winds due to severe weather could also aggravate the weather. Residents whose travels are not important should cancel to prevent any accidents.

  • Make sure that the roads are still visible or best to travel. If blizzard conditions unleash during or along the trip, look for a safe place to temporarily stop or stay.
  • Prepare your winter clothes because the weather will be absolutely cold!
