Martin Develops into a Category 1 Hurricane in Northern Atlantic

As weather forecasts monitored Hurricane Lisa's developments, a Category 1 Hurricane emerged in the northern Atlantic this morning.

However, reports said Hurricane Martin would not yet make an impact inland.

Hurricane Lisa is the 6th Hurricane in the 2022 Atlantic Season, followed by Hurricane Martin, becoming the 7th.

Before Martin developed into Hurricane Category 1, the NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center monitored Martin formed in the Northern Atlantic as Hurricane Lisa strengthened and moved to Belize's coast.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Martin was located west of the Azores (about 1280 miles). The Hurricane was seen moving to the east-northeast at around 26 mph (43 km/h).

Hurricane Martin had 75 mph (120 km/h) maximum sustained winds with higher gusts. The NHC said that the Hurricane had an estimated central pressure of 29.03 inches.

However, the report said that Hurricane Martin could gradually weaken this weekend but continue as a large cyclone.

As two Hurricanes emerged in the first week of November, it is important to keep track of the development of the storms and hurricanes.

Hurricane Lisa was set to unleash flooding rainfall in portions of Belize City, Guatemala, and the Yukatan Peninsula.

Moreover, in the latest weather update on November 3, 2022, AccuWeather reported that Hurricane Martin had no immediate threat.

Meanwhile, the report added that the coast of Guatemala's eastern portions of the Yucatan peninsula could expect tropical storm conditions.

Hurricane Lisa could also affect Quintana Roo, southern Campeche, eastern Veracruz, Tabasco, and north of Chiapas.

With the impact of the storm, it would be possible that it could damage power lines affecting the supply in many areas.
