It's snowboarding season! If you are planning a family getaway or your children have a program with the school, it is essential to know the essential ones for snow. Be sure to calculate snow days at least for next 3 days and prepare the needfull.Use specific clothing to protect children from the cold and choose clothes that keep their bodies dry and avoid colds. Here is a list of things that cannot be missing in your backpack!

1. Special clothing

The classic winter suit or anorak should be comfortable so that they can move easily. It is also recommended that it be eye-catching so as not to lose sight of them.

2. Ski equipment 

If it is to be practiced, the material will be essential. If you don't have it at home, the ski resorts offer a daily rental service.

3. Helmet 

Of course, if you are going to practice a snow sport it will be essential to wear a helmet to prevent damage. Make sure it's your size and that it's always securely fastened. It's also advisable to use it if you're going to sled. They won't stop laughing even when they fall!

4. Ski goggles 

It is a very important accessory to protect the vision, since if we do not do it can bring consequences due to the ultraviolet radiations and the wind. The glass must be dark so as not to damage the sight. Important! They must cover from the nose to the forehead.

5. A panty 

It is necessary to shelter the mouth, neck and throat from cold and low temperatures.

6. Boots 

If we are going to spend a day in the snow, we must wear appropriate footwear to avoid stalling our feet. Of course, if you are going to practice a sport, you should wear ski or snow boots. For children the level of hardness should be between 30 and 60.

To know the size you can use one of their shoes to guide you. It is always recommended that they are adjusted to the foot, but that they are not small or large, because if you move inside the shoe can suffer injuries. It is also advisable to stretch the sock so that it reaches the instep, adjust the boot and tighten the hooks and check with children that they can not lift the heel or bend the toes. It will be important not to do damage when going down the tracks!

7. Gloves

The gloves should have a ribbon so that they are attached to the wrists. They should also be waterproof.

8. Cap 

This accessory also protects the ears and scalp from the sun's rays to avoid burns.

9. Thermal clothing 

If we want to avoid colds, they must wear thermal clothing and at least three layers. The first of them is the one closest to the body and helps to get the body temperature and are garments such as thermal t-shirts and tights. The second must be waterproof (like a fleece or sweatshirt). 

The third must be insulating and any snowsuit and shelter is valid. In order not to get cold we can use special socks that are breathable and quick drying. Check that they are well stretched to avoid blisters and rubbing.

10. Protective and moisturizing cream

It is often thought that the sunscreen is only for the beach, but we are very wrong. Especially at thousands of feet, the sun can be very aggressive. Don't forget Vaseline either, they'll also appreciate the hydration.
