Senator Bernie Sanders has once again showed his ability to inflict humorous damage in social media, as he burns The House of Representatives' Committee on Science, Space and Technology for tweeting a misleading article published by far-right conservative media outlet Breitbart.

According to the article, the global land temperatures have plummeted by one degree Celsius since the middle of the year. This alleged decrease in global temperature is considered to be biggest and steepest fall on record. Breitbart also reported that the news of the decline in global temperatures have been met with "eerie silence" by what it called as alarmist communities. The article proceeded claiming that mainstream Medias felt the need to put all increase in temperatures as a result of climate change in print it in headlines.

It is still unknown who is responsible for the tweet of the House Science Committee. But, whoever that person may be have received a first-class burn from Sanders. Citing the tweet of the Science Committee, Sander replied by asking, "Where'd you get your PhD? Trump University?"

As many of know, Trump University is a defunct American-for-profit education company founded by president-elect Donald Trump and his associates. Trump University was not an accredited university or college. However, this did not stop the university from offering courses in real estate, asset management, entrepreneurship and wealth creation.

Sanders is not the only one who responded negatively to the misleading article tweet of the Science Committee. Many twitter users have also voiced out their qualms regarding the tweet. One user goes so far as to call the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology as an embarrassment. "Science *means* something. The scientific process & peer review mean something. Shame on you," the user wrote.
