The polls are in and the US 2016 elections have ended with Republican candidate Donald Trump finishing victorious over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. With the results, social media has gone berserk on what the future entails for the US. Don't worry, NASA has a solution, it wants you to go to Mars.

On NASA's Mars Exploration website, the space agency has posted a few promotional posters encouraging those who are willing to participate and work on exploring the red planet as a part of its Journey to Mars mission.

"Mars needs YOU! In the future, Mars will need all kinds of explorers, farmers, surveyors, teachers . . . but most of all YOU! Join us on the Journey to Mars as we explore with robots and send humans there one day," NASA wrote.

One of the photos invites future Mars explorers to hike the planet's Valles Marineris, the largest canyon in the solar system. NASA says that from Valles Marineris, explorers will get the chance to witness blue sunsets and see the two Martian moons, Phobos and Deimos. NASA also requires people who are willing to work on a night shift to live in Phobos.

However, the employment possibilities on Mars does not end there. For those who have green thumbs, NASA is also inviting you to grow vegetables such as lettuce, peas and radishes on the Martian soil. Teachers who are willing to learn and impart knowledge about Mars and its moons are also needed.

For the technical side, NASA calls for surveyors and technicians who will be tasked to get a grasp of the planet and fix antennas and other technology, respectively. Those who have a knack for building things are also needed for constructing spaceships and other infrastructure for human survival and traveling back to Earth.

If you think you're ready to exit the US and live in Space, check out the requirements and posters here.
