Video: Russian Soldier Testing Bomb-Proof 'Terminator' Suit

Defense agencies all over the world are wrapped with intrigue because of Russia's new defense project which is assumed to be a bomb-proof, "Terminator" suit. Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin posted a video of the suit demonstration on his Facebook page without revealing other details about it.

An Australian news agency reported that the terminator bomb-proof suit was developed by the Central Research Institute of Precision Machine Building of the Russian Armed Forces.

In the video, a lady Russian soldier was seen walking in the middle of a field reminiscent of the scene on the movie, The Terminator. The soldier proceeded to walk through what appears to be a mine field and then bombs were detonated one at a time. Fires and fumes were all over the soldier but she appeared unscathed thanks to the suit she was wearing.

San Diego Union Tribune said "The test, which was videotaped and posted on YouTube, shows the woman striding through the area as loud explosions are detonated around her, so close sometimes that she looks as if she has gone up in flames."

The video shows how the bomb-proof suit survived the wrath of the bombs while protecting its wearer. Burns and charring is evident from the video. The suit, which was white before the tests, turned to black after surviving several blasts.

Russia's Deputy Prime Minister was impressed by the lady soldier's stint (and probably with the success of the bomb-proof suit, too). He said "Если у нас такие девчонки, представьте, что за парни у нас" which translates to "If we have that kind of girl, imagine what the guys are like."

At the end of the video, it was revealed that the wearer was a woman, she then removed her mask, swung her hair and made a salute to the camera. She was also handed a bouquet of roses.

Russia is known for its "show of might" under the leadership of Vladimir Putin. As of now, the world is waiting for further news about the bomb-proof suit because there's very modest information known about it so far.
